Certificate IV in Business

6 Months Full Time

The program will prepare graduates with a range of business skills necessary to be successful in a number of business environments. These include customer service, marketing communication, introduction to accounting and occupational health and safety.

The Certificate IV in Business is designed for those who have little to no business experience and seek a career in business or who intend to study at the diploma or degree level in the future.

A key component of ASBM is that all students will undertake 140 work placement hours in a business enterprise as part of this course.

PATHWAYS TO A HIGHER DEGREE

Students who successfully complete a Certificate IV and/or a Diploma in the business or management stream will be eligible for advanced standing into a Bachelor of Business at a higher education provider.

Award Requirements

To be eligible for the Certificate IV in Business, a candidate shall complete all of the four (4) course subjects listed.

Credit Transfer

Students who wish to have their AQF qualification and/or Statement of Attainment recognised must submit the documentary evidence before enrolment to the Admissions Department. Once the enrolment has been accepted, no further exemptions will be granted. Further details are available from the Admissions Department.
