Certificate IV in Frontline Management

Leadership, communication and organisational skills are essential components of successful business management. Frontline Managers need to be able to manage both their own performance and that of their employees.

Frontline managers must ensure they have the relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes to create innovative strategies that build their company’s competitiveness in the marketplace.

The Certificate IV in Frontline Management is designed to enhance student’s supervisory skills and knowledge. Students develop communication skills, develop foundation knowledge of the principles of customer service, enhance accounting knowledge and practices, and develop management skills.

A key component of ASBM is that all students will undertake 140 work placement hours in a business enterprise as part of this course.

PATHWAYS TO A HIGHER DEGREE

Students who successfully complete a Certificate IV and/or a Diploma in the business or management stream will be eligible for advanced standing into a Bachelor of Business at a higher education provider.

Award Requirements

To be eligible for the Certificate IV in Frontline management, a candidate shall complete all of the four (4) course subjects listed.

Credit Transfer

Students who wish to have their AQF qualification and/or Statement of Attainment recognised must submit the documentary evidence before enrolment to the Admissions Department. Once the enrolment has been accepted, no further exemptions will be granted. Further details are available from the Admissions Department.
