This comprehensive program provides broad-based business knowledge and skills, particularly in the areas of business operations, advertising and media, human resource management and project and risk management.

The Diploma of Business is a well balanced program incorporating theoretical knowledge and practical business skills that allows students to develop for a wide range of business functions and enterprises. This qualification is suited to students with some prior levels of business experience who would like to further develop their careers and employment opportunities in a management capacity.

A key component of ASBM is that all students will undertake 140 work placement hours in a business enterprise as part of this course.

PATHWAYS TO A HIGHER DEGREE

Students who successfully complete a Diploma in the business or management stream will be eligible for advanced standing into a Bachelor of Business at a higher education provider.

Award Requirements

To be eligible for the Diploma of Business, a candidate shall complete all of the four (4) course subjects listed.

Credit Transfer

Students who wish to have their AQF qualification and/or Statement of Attainment recognised must submit the documentary evidence before enrolment to the Admissions Department. Once the enrolment has been accepted, no further exemptions will be granted. Further details are available from the Admissions Department.
